After months of waiting, I’ve finally been able to lay my hands on the world’s first designer digital clutch, the HP Mini 1140NR Notebook PC. Let me tell you, I was completely stunned by its sheer beauty at first sight. Splashed with peony flowers on a dash of red, the design blends Asian and western elements together. It is designed by award-winning designer Vivienne Tam and has a matching Vivienne Tam wireless mouse.
The brilliant red colour keys make a refreshing change from the black or silver colour keys in most of the laptops. This HP Vivienne Tam Edition netbook also features an extra special ‘Enter’ key that bears the Chinese symbol for double happiness. A matching silk Vivienne Tam sleeve that lets me carry my laptop in style caps off this brilliant package.
This Hewlett Packard notebook is not all style; it has substance as well. Its 10.1-inch BrightView Infinity screen display is great for viewing movies and pictures. The HP Mini 1140NR Notebook PC is powered by an Intel Atom N270 (1.6 GHz) Processor. Its storage capabilities include a 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM, a 60 GB hard disk, and a memory card slot supporting SD and MMC media cards to store all my important files.
The Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 graphic card is more than enough for all my gaming needs. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a fast Ethernet features keep me connected all the time. The built-in webcam is of great help for web-conferencing and social networking. With a thickness of just an inch, the HP Mini 1140NR Notebook PC is as compact as it can get.
