This article is a basic i Pad review. Hopefully it will be as objective as possible when discussing the Apple i Pad. Here we will discuss its use as a mobile internet device, the way it works for personal storage and entertainment and lastly the way it works as a unique business tool. Hopefully by reading this i Pad review you will get a glimpse of the potential power of the Apple i Pad.

The Apple i Pad is an all in one entertainment device boasting a huge 9.7 inch device which is big by any standards for a pocket device and is only half an inch thick, so truly mobile and light weight. Within this i Pad review, one of the main strengths you will see is that it is a very effective mobile internet tool. The Apple i Pad comes with either a wifi capability so you can surf the internet near any wifi router, either at home or in a hotspot. Some i Pad models come with 3g capability, which uses the mobile internet network, so you do not have to rely on looking for a wifi hotspot. The Apple i Pad comes with the Safari internet browser, for smooth internet surfing through sites such as YouTube, Google maps and most social networking websites.

The Apple iPad also plays its part as a personal media organiser and viewer. Like the iPod you are able to store and listen to your favourite music as well as movies. Like with the iPod, you are able to navigate your way to iTunes and pick up the newest and latest releases. Also the iPad doubles up as a sophisticated e-book reader. The user is able to go onto Amazon and download the latest best sellers on the iPad with ease, similar to the Kindle reader. The i Pad is now able to read Kindle e-books.

Next, this i Pad review discusses the i Pad as a business tool. The i Pad is able to run an application called iWork. This handles functions like word processing, spreadsheets and presentations. So if you're a travelling businessman but you need something less cumbersome than a laptop, the iPad is potentially a good palmtop business tool. Although the business function of the i Pad may not be sophisticated enough to replace the laptop totally. In summary, the iPad is a great portable personal entertainment gadget.
