Want More Computer Speed | Simple Steps

Simple steps you can do to improve your computer speed.  Just the computer boost you were looking for.  And I did say they were simple steps, so don’t get worried that you won’t be able to do them on your own.  So let’s do this!

The first thing you can do is clean out the temporary internet files and cookies. (You do this by opening Internet Explorer and choosing the tools menu- select options- on the main page you can empty the temp files and delete the cookies.)  That was easy, what’s next?

You can delete any unused programs by using the add/remove programs utility.  And then go ahead and  groom your Windows start up file by using the msconfig utility.  This is easier than it may sound, just go to StartRun and type msconfig then select ok and choose the start up tab.

Now, turn off unnecessary services in the services manager. You find your way to your control panel by going to your control paneladministrative toolsservices.  So far, so good.  Now for a few other suggestions to improve your computer speed.

Never install programs that start running as windows start, like messengers.  Then the programs you are wanting to run have to compete with the messengers type programs that never stop running. To see and stop them, just press Ctrl + Alt + Del and go into processes tab and close them from there.

I also highly recommend that you invest in a couple software programs that will greatly benefit you and your computer.  Scan your computer weekly with a spyware program.  And also get a registry cleaner software program.  Cleaning your registry with Easy Registry will really make a difference in your computer speed and performance.
