Basic Components of a Heat Pump

There are many times of heating pumps that are available today in the market. In order for you to know which one best suits your needs, you will have to know all about their components. A huge part of the heat pump relies on the resources that you have in your vicinity. This way the entire system remains to be very efficient and cost effective.

The first part of the heating system is the pipes. The pipes will contain the fluid which is used to transfer the heat. Installing the pipes will requiring a massive digging because wells have to be utilized in order for the pipes to access the inner most parts of the earth beneath your location since it is where it will get the heat from.

Another component is the liquid refrigerant mixture. This mixture is more like the refrigerant which can be found in the ordinary refrigerator. The refrigerant is mixed in with water so that it can flow freely downwards and upwards the pipe. This is the fluid which gets heated up when it is below the ground and which then transfers the heat towards the living area. Alternatively, this will also be the same liquid which gathers the heat inside the home and then dumps it outside in order to cool your residence.

A compressor can also be found within the heating system. This is basically the engine which allows the refrigerant flow downwards and upwards in the piping system. This will basically enable the system to operate and function. Without it, the pumping method will not work and will not be able to do its job. This device will basically need to consume electricity in order to function. However, since the system does not generate or produce heat, it will basically require very few amounts of it in order to function. This is also the reason why the system is efficient and why the system can be maintained in operation for longer periods of time.

Another part is the compressor. Here the fluid refrigerant is allowed to pass through and as soon as it does, it will then be condensed. As the refrigerant is condensed, its molecules will start to be packed and it will start to vibrate rapidly. When it does, it will heat up and it will start to get hotter and hooter. From here on, the fluid is flowed onto the heat exchanging portion where the heat is basically given off.

There are many more parts of the heat pump, but you will have to dig deeper if you want to know more of its finer details. If you are indeed planning to set one in your home or if you are indeed planning to get NZ heat pumps for your home or office building, it will definitely be good for you if you go and look for the professional heat pump installers.
