Egg Timer Reviews at http://www.timercentral.com
Have you suddenly forgotten how to cook the perfect hard boiled egg? Do you just guesstimate the time it takes to cook one? We seldom consistently cook what we'd consider perfect hard boiled eggs
We have a tendency to prefer an overcooked hardboiled egg rather than an undercooked one. An undercooked egg of course would be a soft boiled one. So in our effort to make sure that the eggs are indeed hard boiled we over compensate and overcook eggs almost all of the time.
The greenish layer on the outer rim of yolks of overcooked hard boiled eggs can be disgusting.
People have sworn about many a method in creating the ideal hard boiled egg. One of the fresher ideas is using the same amountt of water each time you cook eggs. You must also use the same amountt of heat and an identical container (preferably the same exact tone). Using this technique you can get the perfect hardboiled egg to your liking.
Drop up to 6 eggs into your pan. Use your 1.5 liter soda pop bottles to measure the 1.5 liter amountt. Boil the water on high heat waiting for it to boil.
Wait for 12 to 16 minutes then transfer the hardboiled eggs into a container with cold water. To save on dishes, just get rid of the hot water and replace it with cold water from the tap or fridge. Make sure not to burn yourselfWait for the eggs to cool and start peeling them. If most of them are too soft, a few more minutes next time would do the trick. Instead of 15 minutes you can add 2 minutes more. Keeping adding more cooking time if you find the eggs unsatisfactory. After at least three attempts you will surely get the perfect hard boiled egg for you.
Don't forget to use the same container every time and take note the how much water you used. Making sure you use the same amountt of water every time is the secret. Finally, it is imperative that you time exactly how long the eggs stay on the boiling water. An egg timer would be perfect for this.
