How to Save Time with Nightly Dinners

Sometimes, the most daunting thing about coming home from work is ‘what am I going to feed my family tonight?’.  Well, read on…..

Parents who also work are almost always looking for easy ways to feed the whole family, and that’s why so many families are enamored with items like the small kitchen appliance slow cooker. These allow the one cooking to chop vegetables and basically prepare the meal ahead of time. This can be an invaluable resource for any family that’s ever crunched on time.  You can start a pot roast or stew in the morning before you leave for work, set it on low, and the meal will be done when you arrive home at the end of the day.

Another favorite tool of the busy family is the small kitchen appliance electric wok. These electric woks allow you to make a large stir fry meal in a relatively short amount of time with minimal hassle. For added time saving, have everyone help with dinner. Get the children involved by having the older ones chop vegetables, and then you can help the younger ones defrost chicken or gather materials for the sauce. This will save you time, and it will teach your children a little bit about the basics of cooking.

One of our favorites is a small kitchen appliance rice cooker/steamer which not only allows you to steam rice, but some of the models have racks for steaming fish and/or vegetables.  One touch operation which switches to a warm mode is a wonderful feature when you’re busy doing other things.  The small kitchen appliance rice cooker/steamer has models that can also be used for making soups and sauces.  A multi-use small kitchen appliance is a great asset to the busy family.  Another advantage is they don’t crack like a crock pot has been known to do.

Electric Pressure Cookers are a wonderful time saver.  If you don’t have time before going to work, you can use this wonderful small kitchen appliance to prepare a meal quickly when  you arrive home from work.  As  an example, there is an online recipe for Pot Roast that is done in an hour.  So, throw it in, turn it on and then go and relax for a while before you need to prepare the rest of the dinner!  Pressure cooked meat is extremely tender and flavorful and a real treat to eat.

The small kitchen appliance deep fryer, which comes in many varieties, is an easy way to make French fries or shrimp tempura….or many other foods such as breaded mushrooms, broccoli, and it’s the ONLY way to eat cauliflower!  Breading mixes are available at the grocery store, or you can make your own.  Deep fryed breaded fish….Yay!

In a small kitchen appliance Food Steamer, you can prepare the whole meal at one time, rice or potatoes, meat and vegetables in different layered chambers.  They’re quick and contain all the flavors within the steamer.  Easy to use and clean up.

Is This an Original Tiffany Lamp?

By: Marilynn Duke | 28/08/2009 | Accessories
Tiffany lamps, generally, is the term for Tiffany style lamps, Tiffany reproduction lamps, and the original Tiffany lamps made by the Tiffany Studios, New York. Original Tiffany lamps are made by the Tiffany Studios New York in late 1800s and early 1900s. In 1932, Tiffany studios went bankrupt and all assets were liquidated (an original Tiffany lamp would be dated between 1900 and 1932).
