You've had your online business for a few weeks now. You have some subscribers to your newsletter and you seem to be getting more visitors. You've been getting to know them and they've been getting to know you. So what's next on your agenda?

You don't have an online business just to shoot the breeze. Your online business should be treated like any other business - to make money! Now, there is one way that just about everyone uses to get their first sale. They sell a product. It may be their product; it may be someone else's product. Either way, you have to sell a product in order to make a sale, including your first one.

You can make a profit by writing some sales letters. Not just any letter will do. It has to be a letter that will help you get the first sale. The first thing you must do in order to make a profit with sales letters is create a headline. It has to be a headline that will attract people to read more from the website.

You must capture their attention by begin concerned about their problem. Your first sale when writing sales letters focuses on providing them with solution to that particular problem. That's what the visitors that come to the site are looking for - solutions to their problems. Why else would they purchase anything from you?

Profit from writing sales letters should capture the essence of benefits - visitors need to know what else is in it for them. Otherwise, you can forget about your first sale or any sale, for that matter. It's important that you keep the perspective of getting your first sale. You must remember that's it's about them and not about you.

Another thing that you must do to get your first sale is to ask for the order. You need to tell them what they need to do to get the product. Some people have to be held by the hand because they don't know what to do.

Make sure that when your write these letters, that you emphasize that it's about them. So you would use pronouns such as "you", "your" to confirm that sentiment. Once you get your letters all together, then you can upload them and let your visitors know that your product is out there.

Implementing these tactics can very well help you to get profits from your sales letters.
