A New System That Boosts Technokolla’S Production Capacity
Technokolla reacts against the crisis in the industry with a ground-breaking system that produces special mortars, waterproofing compounds and products with HD technology. It’s Technokolla’s heftiest investment in infrastructures since the company was established: more than 4 million euros have been spent on installing the new lines, which also required the commitment of the entire team.
Technokolla is backing research, innovation and technology to overcome the challenges and uncertainties of the market, and to enrich its range with quality products.
• The capacity of the system
The system started work in January and currently produces 1600 to 1800 bags an hour. Sophisticated apparatus allows the most varied raw materials to be used for making special products, lightened and/or fiber-rich materials. The systems can also bag and palletize products with the very finest grain size through to granules 4 millimeters in diameter and then package the finished products in bags with both open and sealed valves able to prevent leakage during transport.
“The special features of the machines we’ve installed are truly numerous,” commented Luigi Perrino, Technokolla’s Technical Director and Research & Development Manager, who added, “We’ve used pioneering technologies and thanks to these have been able to reduce the impact on the environment. The plant cleaning functions actually produce no waste. We can also customize the production cycle as we manufacture the material. This consequently improves the blends and the final performance provided by the products. We can actually achieve accuracy down to a gram in the automatic mode when we dose the individual ingredients and can also diversify the way the products are palletized."

• The inauguration is scheduled for May
To thanks all those who contributed towards this project, Technokolla has decided to inaugurate the new system at the same time as the customary meeting with the sales force. This means we’ll be cutting the ribbon in May at a ceremony that will involve the entire Technokolla team: managers, executives, agents, office clerks and workers. The event will be a “private affair”.
