Creed - Fragrance House

When it comes to luxurious fragrances, the House of Creed should definitely be at the top of the list. Founded in 1760, the House of Creed is actually one of the manufacturers of the best ever fragrances that have graced the rich and famous. The company itself is a dynasty, being passed from one generation to another since its foundation, so you can even say that it is a luxury fragrance dynasty that is held privately. The House of Creed has been servicing over 10 royal houses and the general public for more than 240 years already.

When James Henry Creed opened the first ever shop in London back in the 1760s, its first fans were the super rich and famous, in the likes of the aristocracy even. Because of the lavishly prepared fragrances created by James Henry Creed, even Queen Victoria took it upon herself to appoint Creed as the official and exclusive supplier of fragrances to the Palace itself. The first ever royal warrant granted to the House of Creed came from King George III back in 1781. Not long after that, the fashionable courts all over Europe started adopting the fragrances developed by Creed one after the other. Napoleon III, Empress Eugénie, Franz Joseph, Queen Christina of Spain, and even Elizabeth of Austria-Hungary. The House of Creed was then moved to Paris per request of Empress Eugénie in 1854. Thus, you can just imagine how their fragrances have certainly caught the attention of the elite all over the world.

In the modern 20th century, the same treatment is still given to the fragrances developed by the House of Creed by the rich and famous celebrities lighting up the Hollywood screen. Under the leadership of Olivier Creed, a direct descendant of James Henry Creed himself, the fragrance dynasty continues to line up the shelves of the rich and famous. The Green Irish Tweed, for instance, is a favorite of Prince Charles, Hollywood veteran director Clint Eastwood, Richard Gere, Pierce Brosnan, George Clooney, Robbie Williams, and even Robert Redford. Love in White is an absolute favorite of the controversial humanitarian actress Angelina Jolie, while Silver Mountain Water is adored by both Jennifer Lopez and Ricky Martin.
