Time and again, I'd find myself buying small things that are full of cuteness, fun and more cuteness. So when lip balm dressed in food flavors came out, I couldn't help but give in.
There were cola-flavored lip balms which were actually in a soda packaging. There were vanilla ice cream-flavored lip balms which were also in small ice cream packs. Fruit-flavored lip balms where created in miniature fruit shapes. There were even cupcake-flavored lip balms shaped as cupcakes. The designs were endless and the creators were so imaginative, you'd never guess what they would come up with next. And true to their flavors, they tasted like it too.
But as much as I loved how they look and tasted, I realized they weren't really doing their job as a lip moisturizer. My lips were left dry and they cracked. I got into the habit of putting on lip balm to avoid lip chaps but now, they totally lost that purpose. I didn't know what I was doing wrong so I searched the net for tips.
