Mascara is makeup, and can only be worn when there are no non-mahrem men around. You can wear it at home, if the only men in the house are your mahrems. If you go, you must either remove it or wear niqaab that covers the eyes.
Mascara rules are simple: Black works for everyone but can be harsh on blondes. Blondes should opt for brown/black by day and reserve black for night. Blue mascara, however, can brighten blue eyes while purple mascara makes brown eyes pop.
For some, lash combs are simply too fussy. But for some makeup artists, they're a great invention and keep lashes glob-free and perfectly separated. So how to use? Apply mascara at the lash base. Then wiggle the lash comb through to the tips of your lashes. Not into the lash comb? Get rid of clumbs without them by removing excess mascara from the wand. Wipe wand on tissue, this eliminates blobs before you start.
When you stand at the makeup counter or aisle, it can be confusing. Should you get lengthening, curling, thickening or non-smudging? And what, just what, is the difference between each of these anyway? (Is there a difference, or are these mascara types all hype, designed to get you to buy more than one type?)
Mascaras these days are loaded with proteins & waxes all designed to condition your lashes & come in problem-solving formulations. In Style’s beauty book, Getting Gorgeous, breaks down these different types of mascaras.
Best Mascara Ever for Bride
Every woman at least once in her life called a quest for her very own perfect mascara. Mascara is a cosmetic used to darken, thicken and define eyelashes, typically used by women. Mascara comes in three forms: liquid, cake and cream. Mascara wands are made of plastic and should never be shared. Mascara can be applied to the top eyelashes for a 'heavy-lidded' look, or to the bottom lashes to widen the eyes.
Modern mascaras can be divided in two groups: water resistant mascaras and non-water resistant mascaras. Water resistant mascaras have a composition based on a volatile solvent (isododecane), animal-derived waxes (beeswax), vegetal based waxes (carnauba wax, rice bran wax, candelila wax), mineral origin wax (ozokerite, paraffin), pigments (iron oxide, ultramarine) and filmifying polymers.
Non water-resistant mascaras are based on water, soft surfactants, vegetal based waxes and mineral origin waxes. Saint Laurent Mascara is a types of mascara.
