Tips on How to Achieve Plump Lips Without Surgery

Today it seems that more and more people are looking to enhance their facial features to look younger and sexier.  Many plastic surgeons have said that their most common request is to have lips like Angelina Jolie. Think about that for a second.  Angelina has full, soft looking lips that compliment and soften her face.  Not that she wouldn't be attractive if her lips were thin, but who can deny the fact that her lips add a bit of sensuality to her beauty?
People tend rely on the advice of their plastic surgeon and pay them lots and lots of money for monthly injections and/or have painful surgery.  I personally think that it is a waste of money to attempt to achieve results that may or may not look natural, and are usually not permanent.

If you are reading this article, I am going to assume that you aren't one of those women blessed with perfect pouty, lips.  I am also going to assume that you really want to find a way to enhance your lips without having to go through the pain of surgery or to have monthly injections.
I am here to tell you that there are alternatives to paying a doctor to inject toxins into your body.

1) Hydration, hydration, hydration!  You should already be drinking plenty of water.  I am not talking about drinks made with water, like coffee or tea, because these don't count.  Water is very good for you and your overall health.  You should drink about 2 liters (that's a little more than 2 quarts) of water a day.  It really depends on your weight, and you can ask your primary physician what they would recommend, but 2 liters is a good starting point.

2) Choose a great lip plumper.  You want to pick one that does not have any drying agents in them, like Cinnamon.  These can dry your lips and may actually cause them to shrink.  Hydration is very important (see above).

3)  When you use the lip plumper, make sure that you open your mouth as wide as you can and stretch your lips as much as possible.  This will allow the conditioner to get into all of the cracks and crevices that you may not be aware of.

4)  Use the above technique just before you go to bed.  Let the lip conditioner do it's thing while you sleep.  You will wake up with plumper lips and have a better day just because you liked looking at the results in your mirror.

5)  The last tip that I have is not my best one, that is why it is last.  There are pumps that you can buy that are designed to pull fluid into your lips.  These are a one-time buy, and your done.  There is a bit of danger and awkwardness to using these machines.  You have to start very slow, and work your way up.  If you try to rush your results, you may end up bruising your lips or breaking blood vessels.  These will heal eventually, but the look that you were intending may have to wait so you don't do any permanent damage.  Personally, I feel that putting a machine on my face is a little weird, but that's my opinion.

There are several products on the market today that will help you.  I have seen great results using the first four steps that I have indicated, and these are what I recommend.  If you haven't done a tremendous amount of research on this subject, then I would also recommend that you do.  Using any products that is an extremely personal choice. Choose what is right for you, after all, you are the only one that you need to please.
