Lotions go with tanning like catsup goes with fries. Salon operators, or even serious home tanning buffs, can go through a lot of tanning lotion. This can prove quite detrimental to one's pocketbook. Luckily, there exists a convenient solution. Wholesale tanning lotions are now available to everyone whether they be a major salon owner or just a regular consumer looking for a bargain.
Tanning lotions come in many varieties and qualities. Many contain tanning accelerators which compress the amount of time needed in the tanning bed or booth which allows salons to cater better to their busy clientele. Tanning accelerators work by stimulating the production of melanin, a natural tanning agent found in the skin. This also often serves to prevent unwanted freckles.
Some lotions also contain additional natural ingredients. Examples include aloe, vitamin E, hemp oil, and extract of guava. These additions are aimed at improving skin texture and moisture counteracting the sometimes harsh effects of UV light exposure. Superior lotions allow one to emerge from the tanning bed with skin silkier than it was before.
Other lotions contain bronzing agents. The most common bronzing ingredient is dihydroxyacentone (DHA). Inclusion of DHA allows a lotion to create tanning effects even without any exposure to the sun or tanning bed lamps. Premium lotions include all of these components acting as accelerators, bronzers and softeners all in one.
Another important factor to consider in lotion selection is the sun protection factor, most commonly referred to as SPF. Those with light complexions are highly advised to use a lotion with the highest SPF possible, assuming tanning is even appropriate for them at all. Lotions with high sun protection factors are widely available through wholesale distributors.
Many retail locations provide a good selection of lotions. However, they do not offer such a good selection of prices. If you operate a salon professionally this becomes of paramount importance. Similarly, an ardent tanner with a tanning bed at home can equally benefit through reduced expenses associated with lotions.
There are quite a few traditional "brick and mortar" wholesale locations across America. Good directories exist online for those who desire to shop the old fashioned way at a store. However, the more popular option today is to purchase your lotions directly online. Most every major wholesaler now has a web site allowing purchase without ever leaving your home or salon. Tanning without lotion is almost unthinkable. Also unthinkable is squandering your hard earned money paying retail. Thankfully, there exists wholesale tanning lotions to allow for higher profits for operators and saved dollars for consumers. Whether it be at a traditional storefront location, or through a wholesaler's web site, the availability exists for all of us to fill our lotion needs without it costing a well tanned arm or leg.
