How To Earn Money Making Jewelry – 2 Successful Tips

Are you ready to learn how to earn money making jewelry? The hobby of making jewelry is now a business that you would like to pursue. Did you select this hobby to turn into a business or did it happen accidentally?

I remember years ago overhearing other people tell how their hobby became a business. I never really understood how you select or determine which hobbies to become a business.

Then it happened to me and now it is happening to you.

I am sure that you may agree with me that a hobby becomes a business because people want to purchase your skills and talents. The hobby of jewelry making which is something that brings joy and falls within our artisan abilities is now our business interest.

It is safe to say that you do not pursue hobby for financial rewards, but rather pursue your personal interest and from there nature will take its course. You are in the right place at the right time with the right skills and talents, and in the right hobby niche.

The next step is to continue your education. Never stop learning about jewelry techniques and jewelry designing. Your talent interest needs constant educational refining. Do you know what will make you a success selling your jewelry designs? Here is the big one…business education.

Keep up-to-date on business practices. Even if you have the where with all to hire others to take care of the business, you still need to know how the business operates. Be in control of your jewelry business. The business will succeed because you are attending to the necessary details of the product and the practical day to day operation of the business.

When I was doing sales work everyday I had to drive pass this one house where the homeowner was constantly tending her yard with its many plants and flowers. Every morning I would see her and would ask myself how many more leaves can she cut away, how many plants can she prune? Surely, once a week would be enough yard and plant care.

After a couple of months of witnessing this activity and seeing the beautiful results of her efforts I had my answer. She had the most beautiful yard on that street and she accomplished this each morning for about fifteen minutes. The lesson she taught me was to oversee and maintain daily tasks and the benefits of those daily tasks would be rewarded with success.

She tended her yard care, I maintained my daily planning and did a sale a day and the benefits of my paycheck reflected my preparation. These are two great success tips that I have discovered to help your business to succeed.

  1. Business planning and preparation
  2. Refining and perfecting your jewelry making skills

They were first class cloths interwoven by the very hands of man.
