Mending Friendship
Grace, Therese and Lindsay are best buds in school. They are called "triplets" by their schoolmates because they have so many things that they share in common. Not just with material things, but they also are alike in their sense of fashion. They share the same food preferences too. Who would ever think that their friendship would suddenly come to a drastic end? Not until the day when Lindsay got involved in a cheating controversy.
When rumors about the incident spread around the whole campus, Grace and Therese got mad about it and turned their backs against their closest friend. They were afraid to be linked on the said issue. Then the two started to take sides with the rest of the students and even condemned their friend without even verifying if the issue was true or not. Almost each day, the students would throw crumpled papers to Lindsay and give her a stern look. The paper which she picked one time had a note inside which reads, "I know you're not a cheater. You were just framed up." Although she had no idea who among the students wrote it, her eyes brightened and found a new hope with the message. She clasped her hands for awhile and placed the paper inside her bag.
While walking on her way home, a man who appeared to be somewhat a messenger approached her and handed a huge envelope. He just smiled and left without any word. Puzzled, for the envelope bore only her name as the recipient, she hurriedly opened it. There she was surprised to see an A4 card. She turned the cover and there the mysterious sender wrote: "Everything will be back to normal. I will help you." Sounding familiar, she searched for the crumpled paper in her bag and found out that the penmanship were the same. No doubt, the mysterious sender of the A4 card and the student who threw the note was just one person! But who could that be? She pondered for awhile when she heard a familiar voice who called up her name. It was Therese! She was startled to see her. Not knowing how to react, Therese grabbed her hand and said, "It was me. I will help you. I already talked with Grace and we investigated. We now know who the culprit is and we're going to help you." Then Grace arrived along with another A4 card which bore the message, "We're sorry. Friends forever we'll be!" All teary-eyed, the three friends hugged each other. Thanks to the paper and A4 card which served as instruments in mending their friendship.
