How long does bad credit stay on my report? Does it go on my "permanent" record? Or does the slate get wiped clean every year or two? In this article we are going to take a quick and insightful look at how long bad credit remains on your report, and the sort of things you can do to lessen the impact before it comes off completely. Care to learn more? Continue reading as we take a closer look below.

The 7 Year Rule (and why it's not as important as they want you to believe)

The truth is, MOST bad credit remains on your report for about 7 years. Some negative entries can last for longer...such as some types of judgements or public record information (such as tax liens) and whether or not they are "renewed" by the holder. But the fact remains that, the vast majority of common credit delinquencies will disappear FOREVER from your report after 84 months from the date of the INITIAL delinquency, as mandated by law. (take THAT collection agencies!)

The good new is this...

After about 24 months, most negative credit begins to abate a bit on it's impact on your actual credit score. (the most important factor these days in getting approved for a loan) After 3 years, many credit grantors will disregard the delinquency altogether. And if you've maintained a positive credit history in the interim time period...most credit grantors or potential lenders are completely comfortable lending to you, even with a spotty past. (especially if that past is at least 3 years or more in the rear view mirror)

Don't let people scare you into believing that credit blemishes will HAUNT you for 7 years

They really won't....and while it does depend a bit on the severity of the item(s) in question, for the most part, a 30 months and a good solid payment history in the meantime is all you need to re-apply, and rebuild, your good credit once and for all!

In my 20 years of psychic research and experience, I've found no shortage of surprises when it comes to psychic facts, insights, illuminating moments...and INCREDIBLE information you'd have to see yourself to believe. Want to know what I believe?

In my experience, when it comes to picking a psychic service (or individual offline intuitive) there is NO better way to double check than to read reviews, or testimonials of previous callers, clients or visitors. As a matter of fact, I've saved thousands of dollars over the years simply by referring to the experience of others BEFORE I've hired a reader, simply because I haven't liked what I've read.

Are you sick and tired of psychic scams? The truth is, there are lots of bad psychic services out there.....lots of fakes. In fact, in my personal AND professional opinion alike.....only about 1 in 10, or 10% of the psychics, clairvoyants and mediums on the market are good!

The vast majority of psychics, free or paid, working online....are fake! Many mean well, or have good intentions, but at the end of the day, simply don't have any real psychic skill to back up their offers. As a matter of fact, our most recommended psychic service ONLY hires about 6% of the intuitive who apply for this very reason, leaving the other 94% (or so) to work at other networks around the web, leaving many disappointed clients, callers and customers in their wake.

Who else is looking for a legitimate psychic web site? What signs are there that a psychic is good....and what signs signal a service should be AVOIDED instead? For the most part, just about EVERY psychic service that I've found to be legitimate has these 3 features...and if they don't, they'll have a pretty close alternative instead.
