A marine surveyor is a responsible person who undertakes valuation and evaluation of ships both before and after they are pulled out of water. - Recommendations given on priority that addresses for the vessel to be safe, and standard recommendations or suggestions that are important for brining the vessel into full compliance with the ongoing industry standards. - The appraised value that also includes replacement and market value figures should be mentioned as well.
- A cover letter and a disclaimer or statement of limitations describing sections which are not covered under the general inspection should be discussed as well.
- Photographs taken in the vessel inspection duration should be included as well.
