For a holiday with a difference the perfect choice is an exotic cruise to the Far East. Take in the sights and sounds of the Far East and sample the wonders of China, Cambodia and Thailand. You will marvel at the sheer pace and sense of vitality abundantly evident in the ultra modern cities, whilst in stark contrast life in the many picturesque villages continues unchanged as it has done for centuries.

THAILAND There is so much to see and do in Bangkok, in the countryside and on the coast.

Visit the cultural hotspot Bangkok and you will have no shortage of things to do in Thailand's bustling capital. Marvel at the quiet reverence of a Buddhist temple and the ornate temples that line the banks of the river in Bangkok. Indulge in some tasty satays and exotic curries in a cafe and watch everyday life pass you by. This destination is a MUST for any Far East itinerary. The recent troubles that were limited to specific areas of Bangkok are now over and you must not let this put you off from going there. Tourism is the life blood of Thailand and every step is taken to ensure the safety of tourists.

Hong Kong is worth spending extra time visiting as it is one of the most exciting cities in the Far East. Hong Kong is well organised with lots of shopping, nightlife and things to see. The picturesque Hong Kong skyline is of Victoria Harbour and the waterfront on Hong Kong Island – this is best viewed from Kowloon at night when the "Symphony of Lights Show" is performed. Perhaps wander through the Sky scrapers of the central Business area and visit Hong Kong Park. Take the tram up to Victoria peak on the Hills behind the Skyscrapers of Hong Kong Island. The views from here are magnificent. Take the iconic Star Ferry between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon to experience local life in the street markets here where haggling is essential. There are separate market places for jade, fish, flowers, electronic goods and a general street market..

CHINA can be a whole destination in itself – but you can get to see most of the highlights on a cruise if visiting Beijing. Whilst Shanghai will give you a flavor of China mixed with Historic British involvement. If you have the opportunity it is well worth adding on our deluxe stay & tour package including The Great wall of China, the Ming Tombs, Temple of Heaven & Tiananmen Square. The only way to visit China is part of an organized tour which will guide you through the language and cultural etiquette barriers. It is necessary to organize visas for China before you travel. These are not part of your holiday cost booked by us and are extra. You will need to work out how many times you will be entering China and arrange a visa for either single or multiple entry. (ie: your cruise itinerary may include Shanghai & Beijing). Please visit
the visa company for prices, information
and guidance.
