Military Discount Disney Cruises

Are you a member of the military who is hoping to get a great discount on a Disney cruise vacation, but perhaps you’re not quite sure where to start? Not a problem! I will be more than happy to assist you with that!

Disney’s Cruise Line offers discounts for members of all of the military branches including the Air Force, Army, Marines, Navy and Coast Guard whether active or retired. This discount is also available for certain divisions of the Department of Defense such as the FBI, CIA, NASA and the Secret Service. In order to receive this discount, you will need to have a valid military ID card. A copy of this ID card must be faxed within 48 hours of booking your Disney cruise. Also, proof of military service will also be required at the port.

As many as three staterooms may be booked on one military ID. These staterooms are nice and spacious and feature a fun nautical theme. Most Disney staterooms can easily sleep up to five people. These rooms also offer an ample amount of storage space. There are several different types of staterooms that are available for you to choose from. You’ll want to choose your room carefully since during your cruise it will be your temporary new “home” for anywhere from three to seven days. One of the cruises offered by Disney is a Bahamian cruise. With this particular cruise, you have your choice of going away for 3, 4 or 7 days.

On the Bahamian cruise, you’ll get to enjoy amazing shows, great programs, wonderful hospitality and much more, including a trip to Disney’s absolutely stunning private island, Castaway Cay. Another fun option is their 7-Night Land & Sea vacation. With this package, you get to stay in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel for three or four nights, and during the day you get to enjoy all four Disney Theme parks. You can also add the Disney Dining Plan if you’d like. Next, you will set sail on a Disney Cruise Line 3 to 4 day Bahamian cruise. On this cruise, you’ll travel to both Nassau and the aforementioned Disney private island, Castaway Cay. In 2010, Disney’s Cruise line will be offering some exciting new cruise packages! You may want to read up on them and get your trip booked now! One of these new cruises will be your choice of a 10 or 11 night Mediterranean cruise. On this particular cruise, the ports of call will be in Spain, Malta, Tunisia, Italy, Corsica and France. Another new cruise that will be available in 2010 is a 12-night Northern European Capitals cruise! One this cruise, you will get to enjoy traveling to England, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Russia, Finland and Sweden.

I hope that you and your family have a fantastic time on your Military Discount Disney Cruises! Thanks so much for taking the time to read this article, and I hope that you have found it to be helpful!

The Sailing Yacht

By: T. Wolf | 01/12/2009
A sailing yacht once denoted a large, comfortable recreational boat used by the ultra-rich which had over-all lengths of over 100 ft. With the largest of these, the difference between it a yacht and a ship became difficult to define. Although a lot of privately owned crafts such as these fall now in the range of about 20 to 45 ft and the cost of building a yacht rises exponentially as the length increased, a few mega-rich do maintain a few of the larger ones but hardly ever sailed on them.
