Israel's Selfless Acts At Serving The World

In the midst of tragedy; terrible and unspeakable natural disasters or man made events there is always one nation prepared and gladly awaiting the call for help.

That nation, today lives under a constant threat of terror and aggression from its neighbors that selfless nation is Israel.

Most would never guess that living in such a precarious situation that the people of Israel would even consider giving the time to consider helping others in need.

However, despite the ever present threat to the Israeli people they remain effectively, at the ready, and grateful to act at the most inconvenient of times.

Most peaceful nations have aid mechanisms and rescue units, and their members always eager to help those in need, but none seem so eager to volunteer than the Israeli people.

Many nations tend to want to provide aid and do promise it, yet they often don't get direct personal to the areas in need for one reason or the other.  National politics, often plays a roll and more times than not conflicts with human compassion.

Israels Fast Israeli Rescue & Search Team (F.I.R.S.T.) has become so effective at identifying and responding to the world communities disasters that they deserve the recognition of being one of the best rescue groups if not the best. F.I.R.S.T. a 500 plus rescue unit of volunteers is fast becoming a standard and model for world rescue and search teams.

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs MASHAV program (Hebrew acronym for Israel's Center for International Cooperation) has become more and more instrumental at providing and often leading the world in Global Humanitarian Assistance.

The devastating earthquake in Haiti gained much world attention, but instead of sending doctors and engineers most nations send donations which delayed the recovery.  It was Israel that responded quickly.

The United States did as well, but not as much with its national relief systems.  The greatest assistance from the United States came from private non-profit Christian organizations who actually overshadowed the American national response.  The Obama Administration didn't seem to know how to handle the situation and in stead sent armed troops.  Fortunately, Israel sent a badly needed full field hospital just in time.  These responses from Israel have shown the world community that Israel is fast approaching the leader in disaster response.

Japan, shocked by an unexpected world record earthquake and tsunami has just been informed that Israel has immediately offered its assistance of aid and support staff. This natural disaster has devastated  Japan and will likely take months to recover from.  However, Japan can be certain that the aid offered, by Israel, will actually meet the immediate needs of the Japanese people: Israel will be there.

Israel has become not only a friend to those in need, but they are a friend the world community can count on.  This little nation doesn't come with a fat wallet, but rather with a dedication and care that is second to none.

Their volunteers and field personnel come to as brothers and sisters.  They promise to be there and they keep their word not with donations and empty promises but with doctors, nurses, engineers and rescue teams.

A great deal has been made of in alternative archaeology books about how and why our technologically primitive ancestors were able to carve out, transport and erect massive multi-ton stone blocks into megalithic monuments. Since there is no doubting the existence of these structures, our ancestors must of in fact possessed an advanced technology or had assistance from those who did (i.e. – ‘ancient astronauts'). That runs contrary to scholarly archaeology. But the questions remain.
