Reology and Death

Certainly one of Reality's greatest mysteries is death. Aside from the obvious, where what was alive and functioning in physical reality no longer does, what is the reality of death? What, if any, part of our identity survives? If something of us does survive, what do we experience? How can we be sure there is experience after physical life ends?

We have seen how reality is really an illusion; there is no matter or energy, or space or time, except in the instant of observation which makes all these things including our physical identity appear real. All the experience we know is in fact completely subjective.

What could be more subjective then death? It is complete disassociation with the illusion of anything physical. Actually the state we refer to as death is more probably like our natural state. In death we just go back to the focus we have that excludes the physical one as being absolute.

How can we be sure of this? Because we have direct evidence of it. We sometimes even refer to it as waking up from the dead. It occurs in sleep. When we sleep, we do not participate in physical experience. It is total subjective awareness, and our subjective experience in sleep has no physical limitations. You can dream about an entire lifetime in an instant in sleep. While dreams may often be about physical experience, this experience rarely, if ever, conforms to the physical laws we think we are governed by when awake.

Dreams are simply too bazaar by our day time standards, sometimes giving us experience with which, when awake, we have no ability to relate. Despite this, dreams do in fact appear more consistent with Reology and The Three Grand Illusions; they often depict matter and energy, and space and time, as well as our own individual identity, as surreal, unreal, and illusionary. Despite the difficulty we have relating to dreams, which also is only natural from a physical perspective, the most glaring and consistent experience we recall is the "timelessness" involved. Dreams of complete and complex experiences, whether we understand them or not, leaves us with the impression of their "timeless" nature. They seem to begin, progress, and end in an instant. As we have previously seen, quantum theory confirms an instant is the only time that is real.

While not yet scientifically accepted as valid, near death experiences (NDE's) and their associated life review experiences (LR's) are further confirmation to our subjective non physical identity. Approximately 13 million people have reported NDE's in the US alone. Through study and analysis of thousands of these experiences, a distinct pattern of evidence has emerged that is both consistent and trans cultural. While certain aspects of near death experience conform to individual cultural and religious beliefs, the greater pattern is that these beliefs are a uniform and consistent part of NDE's and LR's. While science currently attributes these patterns to hallucination or imagination, the uniformity of these experiences has established that they are too statistically consistent to be mere random experience.

These patterns follow a specific sequence; an unpleasant sound, followed by a realization of being dead. Next comes feelings of calmness and peace often followed by out of body experience. This leads to the experience of entering a tunnel of light, where meeting and even recognizing others takes place. This often culminates with the experience of being in the presence of the God the individual believes in. Next comes the life review followed by experiencing a boundary past which they are not permitted, and then, with great reluctance, are returned to their physical body with a sensation of warmth.

These are the events reported by the majority of people who have had near death experience that were surveyed, and in this exact order. During the life review, another consistent pattern has emerged which includes seeing one's entire life in extreme detail, including little, unremembered events, and all this occurs very quickly, even instantaneously. While feeling they are not being judged, they become their own judge in this review, seeing the experiences in which they hurt or harmed others, and feeling remorse and regret for such actions. This extends to the creatures of the natural world and even the environment itself. Additionally, there is an awareness of such clarity that it is greater then any experience of conscious awareness in the physical state. This is followed by a transformation of personality and beliefs with the intent to be accepting of others, a repentance of previous wrong doing, and a desire to learn and spiritually grow in the physical form, with less emphasis on material gain or possessions. It is being reborn to the same physical identity from which the person died.

What happens to those who die but do not experience the NDE? There is no way of knowing, but it is a safe assumption they go through this same experience and are able to move past the boundary people having NDE's cannot.

The point of all this is that we each have experience of one kind or another that provides us direct evidence of reality's illusions. Our true identity is not the physical one we observe in the mirror, but instead is a non physical one of subjective experience that transcends physical reality. The evidence for this is in all we experience, as it must be if it is our true nature. We only need to seek it out.

As for death, Reology shows it is not the end of personal reality, but rather its continuation.
