Should  Advertisements  be banned?

Companies are investing huge amount of money in advertisements/ Publicity stunts. Many crores of rupees are wasted in these advertisements for sales promotions and branding the products. These cost of advertisement increase the cost of Sales of every product very much, which ultimately consumers has to bear.
Televisions shows have much influenced our thinking & lives. These shows may entertain for sometime but ultimately we are wasting our priceless time as well as money(all sponsor of TV Shows pay huge amount & ultimately increase MRP of products)  in watching these shows. Our creativity has also been affected by all these things.
A good example is a cold drink company which produces one litre of cold drinks for Rs 5/- and sells the same for Rs 50/-! Same thing goes for soaps, luxury goods, toiletries, cars, education center, school, colleges, private universities etc. All things have been commercialised. These altogether make our living costlier. We prefer brand , which is widely published in different TV Channels & Newspapers, internet etc.
When asked from an actress who is advertising a particular soap that whether she used this soap in actual life or not? She said I do not use this soap, even any soap. I use only body shampoo. But we feel honored if we use branded products.
Branded Shoes, Clothes makes a person more satisfied & has also good image & respect in society than otherwise. This is the reason that Retail Sector has maximum growth in India as well as in World. World richest are from these sectors now.
Actually some things are become part of our life. So we can not even think to live without them. We live in highly decorative society. We are actually getting far away from higher values of religion.

As We have to face advertisements at every sphere of life, so the only solution lies with us to take plus & minus of the product we are going to buy. We should see whether we are getting value of money we spend.

We, the people, should remain cautious while buying something.

A great deal has been made of in alternative archaeology books about how and why our technologically primitive ancestors were able to carve out, transport and erect massive multi-ton stone blocks into megalithic monuments. Since there is no doubting the existence of these structures, our ancestors must of in fact possessed an advanced technology or had assistance from those who did (i.e. – ‘ancient astronauts'). That runs contrary to scholarly archaeology. But the questions remain.
