Why should I pay tax?

Often this question is asked from many business people. They strongly stress the factors of production is our creation; we bought it for a cost. No one provided this and no one protected this, we provided and protected, then why should I pay tax?

Here is the solution for that question. Contribution of factors of production i.e., land, labor cost, material and capital, possession may be sometime belongs to that people. But the real case is not like that. Firstly, the true owner for land is vested with the government itself. The government of a country has the full power on this land. The second, labor is always considered as cheap source from the business community. Almost the globe was advised from many management experts about the importance of labor and facilities to them. But still it is perceived as a dream not realized in many sectors.

The third, material is readily available for all and it is passed for a consideration. Actual possession may change every day from one person to another but the creator is? Now the creator is the real god, he supplies the raw material, spare parts and all other equipments to the needy persons. Consumption of raw material is comes from the agrarian community to many large scale industries, agricultural goods are supplied without profit, but the same is repurchased with profit from the business place by the agrarian community.

The fourth, capital is made by the combination of previous three factors. Without this three, no one can harvest profit. Hence it leads for capital formation.

This are all one side, then the other side is…….

  1. Government spending huge funds for the protection of citizens of India. It includes our own safety as well as our business enterprises. Our army soldiers are missing their lives; think their families, who compensate the loss of their death.
  2. Everyday we are using lot of free facilities offered by the Government, water facilities, road facilities, medical facilities, education, police safety etc.
  3. Every year our Government spending for space research, because of this Government initiation, internet, cellular, television etc, we are utilizing this with a nominal cost.

Not only this, everything is not our property, sometimes that possession is vested with us. This is temporary in nature.

It is our responsibility and duty to pay tax.

Pay tax, safeguard our nation.

Be a true citizen.

A great deal has been made of in alternative archaeology books about how and why our technologically primitive ancestors were able to carve out, transport and erect massive multi-ton stone blocks into megalithic monuments. Since there is no doubting the existence of these structures, our ancestors must of in fact possessed an advanced technology or had assistance from those who did (i.e. – ‘ancient astronauts'). That runs contrary to scholarly archaeology. But the questions remain.
