If you have done any searches online for anything forex related you are probably seeing a lot of advertisements and claims about automatic forex trading robots. Many of them are making some outrageous claims about the returns they are getting. My curiosity got the best of me so I decided that since the one I see advertised the most doesn't cost much and since I can try it on a demo without risking anything I decided to give it a try.
After purchasing it I was directed to page with some video tutorials that walked me through the install process. The first step was to install MetaTrader which is a popular trading platform that a lot of traders use. I already had it installed so I didn't have to do that step. The next step was to download a program that installs the robot into MetaTrader ad an expert advisor. This is the common way that forex automated trading robots work.
After the install a video walked me through setting it up to trade and adjusting a few settings. I did have one problem where I couldn't change the settings but I quickly found the solution in the help forum. The solution was as simple as hitting my F2 key. All in all the install and setup was easy and painless. Now it was a matter of waiting for it to make some trades.
A few hours later it made 4 trades and all of them were winners. The next day was a Friday which is a short trading day in the US and it didn't make any trades. The next Monday it had it's first two losing trades but it also had two winners which made it a close to break even day. Ever since then it's been getting about 80% winning trades.
It hasn't been doubling my account monthly like some of the ads claim but it does make a steady profit, better than I have ever done trading myself. I also have it set to trade pretty conservatively to reduce my risk. So far I am happy with the results.
What I like is I don't have to do anything. After it's set up it is truly automated and it's fun to watch. If you want to know if forex automatic trading robots really work try one out on a demo account and see. Even if it didn't make money it's fun to watch.
