The turtle story is perhaps one of the most inspiring trading stories ever and if you want to get some great forex education learn how these traders went onto make millions after just 14 days coaching and none had ever traded before!

Let’s look at the story in more detail.

The Experiment

IN 1983 Legendary trader Richard Dennis set out to prove that successful trading could be learned by anyone with the desire to succeed and set out to prove his point.

He took 23 people who only had one thing in common all:

Had no previous trading experience, they were from diverse backgrounds and included:

Men, women, young and old - all from a variety of different jobs including, a security guard, a kid fresh from school and a female book keeper to name just three.

He trained them in 14 days and then set them off to trade - The result?

These traders went on to be some of the most successful and famous traders of their generation and made Dennis over $100 million dollars.

How did they do it so quickly?

Working Smart for Success

Dennis set out to teach them a simple method; they could have confidence in.

This meant they would be able to apply it with discipline when they had bad periods and he added a strict set of money management rules to preserve equity.

There was no filler - he just taught them the knowledge they needed to succeed i.e. he taught them to work smart not hard ONLY teaching them what was essential to succeed.

It’s a fact that trading is relatively simple, yet the bulk of traders about 95% lose all their money - and they fail for two main reasons:

- They do not have confidence in their method to follow it with discipline and:

- Most traders cannot run their profits and cut losses.

Dennis focused on these two areas and gave the traders not just the method to succeed but also the mindset to aplly what they had learned

The major problem forex traders have is with mindset and dsicpline not learning methods.

Is it really that easy to learn forex trading?

It is not easy but it’s not hard either – all you need to be aware of is what you have to do to succeed and focus on getting the right forex education.

Anyone can learn trading – it’s a specifically learned skill not a natural born gift. Most traders of course don’t succeed but this is down to them – the opportunity is there for all.

Trading is hard to master from a mindset point of view but there is a big difference between something being hard and not being achievable. You can succeed just as the turtles did, you must get the right forex education and learn the right mindset for success.

Trading success is a combination of the right mindset and the right knowledge.

Most traders learn the wrong information or are lazy and expect some guru to give them success and its no surprise they lose – no one else can help you win.

Wining in trading comes from within and you need to take charge of your own destiny.

Most of the systems and e-books sold on the net are not from traders at all but from marketing companies who never traded in their lives! They make their money making claims that have no substantiation and the gullible novice traders fall for it.
