Website Designing and Lead Generation

Websites are used as beds for lead generation when the call center decides to work for web leads. Just like they are used as foundations for this sales lead generation process, the websites have to measure up to certain standards. Users who come to the client's websites because of SEO or social media marketing will not convert to leads if they don't find what they are looking for. If the look or feel of the website repels the incoming visitor, the user might leave and never come back. On the other hand, if they like what they have come across, you can expect repeated visits and also web leads. There are some guidelines that the BPO web designers need to know. Let's take a quick look!

First, several websites use Flash introductions and pop-ups to welcome the user. Such introductions are not advisable for lead generation drives. When the user has come across the website, they want to read and know what you have to offer. Flash intros take a long time to upload and eat up precious time on the Internet. If you study the trends of websites and user behavior, you will note that most users move away from websites when they are faced with a long uploading time. This increases what is called the bounce rate. In other words, the BPO gains nothing from such traffic that visits but navigates away without checking any page or clicking on any web links. Other than Flash intros, heavy images and graphics are other spoilsports that throw the sales lead generation off-key.

Second, the websites that you use for lead generation must have easier navigations. The links and inner pages must be arranged in a synchronized way. Users must not have any problems going to the page that they are looking for. Smooth navigation is only possible when call center web designers study the content of the website and point out what kind of users will come to the website. A simple example would be to keep tell-tale colors that lead to certain inner pages within the website. There must be an organic unity in the way the website is designed. The user must not feel that the links are sporadically placed or inconvenient for easy navigation.

Third, the content of the website is primary when it comes to sales lead generation. Users can reach a decision only when the call center can convince them on the basis of what's written on the website. The website designing plays a major role in this. A simple example is to make the website image-rich when the targeted user group is the senior citizen slot. Because aged people may have problems reading the content on the site, images would suit the purpose. The BPO web designers have to build up websites according to the need of the project. Having social networking buttons for Facebook or Twitter sharing is another plus for a website. Easier to fill lead generation forms are a must, too.
