"I forgot my Windows password" is a problem that many people are having these days. Even though it's the most important password a computer owner can have, many people really do forget it. Don't forget about case sensitivity. Vista and 7 are pretty case sensitive. Make a list of passwords that you usually use and try typing them in various ways.
