Recovery From Corrupted Ms Access Table

Sometimes when you try to import a database table from another database or export a database table to another database, you may get following two error messages:
1. Jet has stopped the process because you and another user attempted to change the same data at the same time.
2. #Error

In this case, you can open and read the database table in normal way.
Cause:
This error occurs when any of the following conditions become true:
When you try to do any of the following actions:
1. Update Records
2. Run a query, a form or a report
3. Scroll through data in a corrupted database table

Access provided the resolution of this problem. How to fix it:

-> Create a copy of the corrupted database to avoid leading irrecoverable corruption during the repair process.

You can fix this problem by using following steps:
1. Make a copy of the corrupted table in same database
2. In the view menu click on Database View
3. In this view copy the records of the table
4. Paste these records in new database
5. After moving all records save this database with different name

Using this method, you can resolve the issue in most of the cases, but there is no guarantee that you will be able to repair the database. In case when you fail to do so, you may not access your data and it can lead to data loss.
