The dating world is a hard and cruel place. Guys are jerks, Girls are jerks, thats how the world goes round. We all have given out a fake number or blown someone off because we were not interested. Learn how to attract the opposite sex and even the playing field.

A smile is one of the sexiest things there is. Mary Ann Libaste says a smile can make your heart stop. Sexy lips have an immediate "kiss-me" quality in the form of soft, tender lips. So, men, perhaps using lip balm to protect your sexiest quality isn't so "girlie" after all. Thats great advice, no one wants to kiss dry chapped lips, or envision kissing someone with them. Men need to be gentleman. Opening doors and treating them well are things that must be done. A great way to catch a woman's eye is to open a door for her if you are walking in front. You want to look into the person's eyes but you don't want to stare to the point of creepiness. Be content with yourself and relaxed and confidence will automatically come out of you. You will definitely pick up a date easy.

When you get your date first you have to think of what makes you enjoy dates. What makes you attracted to the person you are out with. It could be that you were just physically attracted to them but most likely its more of a mental connection. On a date you should not question yourself.

You should be optimistic, if the person is not what you are normally attracted to don't pay attention to the physical. He/She could end up being one of the nicest people you have been out with in a while.

We all know listening is key on a date. Everyone likes to talk about themselves but there should be a healthy mix. The more you ask the more you will learn about the person. Don't be afraid to ask questions. If you are open about yourself its most likely that they will return the favor and feel more comfortable in your presence.

You should be flexible when its your first date. One of the most difficult parts is agreeing on where you should go, or what you should do. Even if you don't love what they suggest or the restaurant they have made a reservation at what can you do? Appreciate the fact that they took time to arrange the date and go along with it.

You should always be yourself on the date. Do not pretend to be something you are not. Lies are always hard to keep track of and will always end up being spilled at some point. If you date is not interested in you it is their loss and it was not meant to be. Just like you were not meant for them, they are not meant for you.
