Picking up women in bookshops
Bookshops are a vast venue to pickup intelligent women as they’re always crowded (especially the big bookstalls) with women who have more going for them apart from their good looks.
Picking up in libraries has always been my specialty, as the women there tend to be very intelligent and chatty.
Below you will find some heads up when it comes to picking up women in bookshops.
Library Pickup Tip#1
try not to look like you’re in the bookshop just to pick up. If you look like a man on a mission walking aimlessly around chatting to random women then eventually other women will start to notice. Pick up an interesting hardcover book with a eye-catching cover (something that’ll get women’s attention and something you can talk to her about) examples are travel books to foreign locations, Moroccan cookery, yoga for dummies, art books and if you’re in a humorous mood you could have a copy of the bible (tell her you’re a freelance novelist and you’ve decided to re-write it).
Bookstall Pickup Tip#2
Don’t hang around her before approaching her as this seriously creeps girls out, women in libraries are easily approachable and talkative (you will see when you try it) so when you spot an attractive woman in a bookstalls offhandedly walk up to her, and start a conversation with her using some of the lower conversation starters unique to libraries:
Starting conversations in bookshops should be done in a laid-back, pleasant tone and always smile guys!
