Sure you want to impress your date but for crying out loud you don't want to take out a government loan to do it. No
problem. With a little creativity, going on a date can be inexpensive and still a lot of fun.

Like what? Well...

The Theater

Most cities have local theater companies. You and your date could see a play at a fraction of the cost of the same play
performed by a big time out of town production company.

For another type of theater, find one that shows second run movies. While they may show movies a little later then their
original release date, ticket prices are very affordable and in some cases, cheaper than matinees

The Museum

Staying with the arts spend time in a museum talk to your date about the various pieces of artwork. Finding out what
the other person likes or dislikes is a great way to learn more about them.

Cooking

This is an excellent way to spend quality time together. Plan your romantic dinner by talking it over then shopping
for the ingredients you will need. As for the actual cooking, take your time preparing the meal. This allows the
two of you to see how well you work together as a team.

The Park.

Enjoy the great outdoors with your date. You can walk around, bike ride, picnic or people watch. If the park has
a lake, go ahead and rent a canoe or paddle boat. The fee is usually nominal.

A Coffee House

Price wise, springing for coffee and dessert is nothing compared to dinner for two at some expensive restaurant. And
because of the relaxed atmosphere, a coffee house is a great place to chat uninterrupted and get to know your date.

Board Games

Choose a few games from your collection and challenge your date to some friendly competition Not only are these games
a lot of fun but they can also be an excellent way to get to know each other better Playing games like scrabble that
require creativity instead of just luck gives you a chance to really show your date who you are.

You don't have to go broke trying to impress your date. Some of the thriftiest ideas can also be some of the best. The
laid back atmosphere allows you and your date to be yourselves and enjoy more of your time together.

Where to go from here questions of a confused guy
By: LiveFast2011 | 02-03-2008
Ok sorry for some reason this didnt work the first time. Alright Ive pretty much fallen in love with a girl ive known forever and i am getting signals back from her but not exactly sure how to go about advancing things the situations.....complicated. Some background:Im a Preachers Son and she used to go to the church we attended before there was a big conflict and it split. We went one way her family stayed put. That was 3 years ago i hadnt seen her since, but than suddenly i got to high school and saw her and she...well she got absolutely beautiful.  Come 2nd semester i find out i have 4th period with her and we sit right beside eachother.  Now we started to catch up and she is just amazing, she always makes me laugh and shes one of 2 people that ive ever met who can make me smile no matter what. I always am messing around with her making her smile and laugh. Theres been some times when ive felt a spark but you can never trust that. One of her freinds keeps tellin me i should ask her out because she thinks shes keeping me open as an option but she doesnt really talk to her that much so i have no idea.  All i know is that im in love with her and that i make her happy. If i dont get into one of the service academies than were Both going to the same college and we go to some of the same camps every summer.  I just dont know if i should jump right into a relationship with her, having dropped off the face of the planet and just showing up 3 years later. I also dont even know how she really feels about me so i dont really want to bust in guns blazing. I just need some advice on how to carry on and how to find out her feelings without totally screwing myself over. THanks just ask if you have any questions about this. Josh
