Budget Dating By Donna Beasley Some people worry about date money too much without realizing that love and companionship are what really matters in a date. If you don?t have much money to spare, is it still possible to celebrate your love in style? The answer is a big yes! Whether it?s your first date or your wedding anniversary, you can date in style without busting your wallet. Here are some helpful tips on how to plan your romantic date on a budget.
1. Join a group when travelling locally or internationally Many bus tour companies and independent travelers are looking for tourists to join them. You can sign up and join a certain group for a tour around a winery, and other local and international destinations. Usually, the package includes hotel accommodations and breakfast. A downside to this is not being able to strike out on your own and being stuck with the whole group?s plans.
2. All Inclusive Tourists? Packages Some resorts offer all inclusive trips, which include fare, room or lodging and food. There are also some pre-selected activities included in these travel packages so you don?t have to plan ahead for things to do while you?re in the resort. Sometimes, having a set itinerary is more cost-effective because you have a set amount to prepare for.
3. Tour Your State or Your City Whether you grew up in your city or you migrated in from another state or country, one date option is to spend a day visiting your local restaurants and parks. There may be some newly established resorts around that you haven't seen yet. It's also nice to tour your date around your old middle school or high school, for him or her to catch a glimpse of how you grew up and what activities you did in the past.
4. Poetry Reading Bring your old poetry books to your date. There are cafes and outdoor recreation areas where poetry reading is encouraged. Better yet, go to the nearest park and read poetry aloud. You can do this cuddled on a park bench, or sitting across each other. Bring a picnic basket with soda and chips so you won't have to walk to a nearby food stall when you get hungry. The best thing about a park date is you can lounge around and just talk. You can focus on your conversation in a carefree manner, and there is no pressure to do anything else.
