There is a great deal of confusion when it comes to women calling their boyfriends. In many cases, you will be advised that you should never call your man. However, this is taking things too far. It is perfectly okay to call him - the trick is to know when you should do it. There are some things you should bear in mind to help you determine the most appropriate time to call your boyfriend, or when you should not call.
Get the hint
Perhaps you have been in the habit of calling the man every now and then without receiving any response. Do you know whether he has a caller ID? The answer is most likely yes, and if so, then this is an indication that you should give the man some space.
If he promised to call
Your boyfriend may have promised to call yet the expected time of call passes without any response. In general, if the man gave his word, give him time to keep it.
Unfortunately, many of us mess things here by becoming emotional. This can easily ruin a relationship that could have blossomed into something great.
Before you get emotional, ask yourself whether he really gave a very specific time in which he was to call. In many cases, we tend to set up our own periods in which we expect the men to call. When our own appointed time passes, we start getting angry with the men.
Even when you see that it is taking rather too long for him to call, you should keep your cool. It is more rational to give him time to call.
If the man called you while you were away, you will be justified to call him. Just don't make it a habit of calling him every now and then.
Influence him instead
