Halo 2 Campaign Walkthrough 16 - Regret Part 3
Learn how to beat the Halo 2 Campaign level Regret, Part... Overcoming the regret of breaking up with someone will not be as easy as it sounds. It would be nice if we could just snap our fingers and make our feelings of regret go away. Of course it doesn't work like that. To overcome the regret of breaking up with someone you must be able to justify the reasons that the break up occurred in the first place. If you are unable to rationalize your reasons for breaking up then your feelings of regret are not likely to resolve. The reason for this is that you will always question if you did the right thing. If you are always questioning your judgment then you will be unlikely to put the regret of breaking up with someone behind you. Guilt can also play a role in your ability to overcome the regret of breaking up with someone. Have you ever felt guilty about something that you have done before? If so then you know how feelings of guilt can haunt you. It causes you to constantly review in your mind what you have done; to replay the scenario over and over causing you to take much longer to overcome the guilty feelings. If you were comfortable with the reasons that you broke off the relationship then you would not feel guilty for doing so. The other party involved can influence your ability to overcome the regret of breaking up with someone. How are they handling the situation? If your ex is someone that constantly calls you or tries to see you after the breakup it will be difficult for you to let your emotions calm down so you can rationally consider if your break up was justified. If your ex is not handling the break up well they can force feelings of regret and guilt onto you which won't allow you to move on. It's best to avoid your ex if at all possible. Whether or not you have a "no-brainer" of a reason to break up with someone such as cheating or constant lying or abuse you are entitled to your feelings. If you are in a relationship that you know is not working even for the most basic of reasons (no chemistry between you and your partner or you simply want out) then you have the right to break it off and move on. Your reasoning and thoughts are your own; no one can take those away from you. Don't let feelings of regret or guilt get in your way of happiness.
