Unfortunately, the fact that your peers also forget birthdays should provide you with little comfort. In this advanced day and age with all the technology out there, all you have to do is program a reminder so you can run to the store at the last minute and get a gift. If you find yourself stuck with absolutely nothing to give, make her a card, pick up some flowers, give her something of yours, or find something that makes her feel special.

My second piece of advice for guys is, learn to be sweet. Being sweet doesn't make you "whipped"; it makes you a guy who will be sure to please his girlfriend, wife, or friend! You know in the middle of the day when a thought pops into your head about your girlfriend? Well when that happens, call or text her and tell her you were thinking about her and thought you'd call. It's simple and will take less than 2 minutes of your time. If you listen to nothing else, this piece of advice for guys will always work!

This next bit of advice for guys should be a no-brainer, but if it is not here you go; always be open and honest about your female friends. No matter how hot she is, tell your girl about this friend and let them meet early on. Trust me; you will be in a lot more trouble if you don't tell your girlfriend about this friendship and even more trouble if you forget to tell her that your buddy looks like Gisele Bundchen. The fact that it never crossed your mind will not serve as a legitimate excuse.

If your girlfriend, wife, mother, sister, or really any woman in general asks you that inevitable question, "how do I look" or "do I look fat in this?", before you answer take the time to look at your woman with kind eyes and answer quickly. And no matter what your initial thought, the answer should always "beautiful". Better adjectives include; breathtaking, stunning, and gorgeous. The point isn't really to lie, but any hesitation or unnecessary comments will just upset her or send her back to the closet.
