Dating Men - Should You Call Your Date Or Not?

If you are a single lady who has gone out on a date, you may find yourself in a confusing situation when it comes to making phone calls. For many of us, it seems only logical to call the guys after we go out on great dates.

Don't think with your heart

As much as you may get the urge to pick up the phone and call your date, you should not let your emotions have the upper hand. Listen to reason and act wisely.

Give him time

In case you go out on a great date with a wonderful man, you should give him time to call you. If he is really interested, be rest assured that he will call. The problem comes from the fact that we expect our dates to call us immediately after we go out.  

Men view the situation differently and may take quite some time before they get in touch, which does not show their lack of interest. In fact, your guy may not call immediately so as not to betray his real feelings towards you too soon. He may therefore take deliberate steps to avoid calling you for a number of days, and when he finally does, he will be keenly interested in how you react. This means that the way you respond to his call will have a great bearing on the direction your relationship will take.

Don't point an accusing finger

When your guy finally calls after what appears to have been an eternity, you should not start blaming him for his lack of caring towards you. This will give an appearance of desperation, which may just push him further away.

Just talk about the normal things in life and let him suggest another date. When he does, do not jump at the opportunity and accept immediately. Tell him to give you time to see how your schedule is and then you will let him know.

Men love the chase, and you will be more appealing when you give your man the chance to chase after you. This will spice up your relationship as he won't like losing you if he truly cares about you.

As much as it is said that men like aggressive women, the truth is that you may easily make your date pull away if you seem to be hotly in pursuit of him.

Do not keep your life on hold

Waiting for the man to call can really stretch your patience. You should instead immerse yourself in your normal life. Have fun instead of just brooding around.
