Dating Women Seeking - Is He Interested in Dating You?

Let’s face it…men and women are vastly different from each other, especially including the way we think and communicate.  So, you’re a single woman in the dating scene seeking to find a love and you just are not sure if he’s really in to you.  How can you tell?  Are there any simple signs of interest?

Is he paying attention to you and giving you quality time or does he seem like he’s kind of brushing you off?  If he’s making eye contact and hanging around more than five seconds of a passing hello, that’s a good sign.

How’s the communication going?  If he seems to be listening and continuing to make eye contact, that’s another sign of interest.  If you’ve been able to hold his attention for several minutes you’re doing really well, because, quite frankly, men don’t have the greatest attention span and do not like to talk as much as women.  Dating women seeking have a need to speak 50% more words a day than men do, so if he’s listening and talking, he’s in to you.  If you sense the interest that he has in you, start talking about him and trying to get to now him, with gentle prodding.  A man can’t resist a woman who listens to him.  Men love to be praised and have respect.  Milk the conversation for all it’s worth and show him that you reciprocate his interest in you and would like to get to know him better.

Has he made any physical advances towards you?  If he’s groping you, tell him to take a hike, but if he seems to have a genuine interest in you and lightly touches your arm or hand, it’s another good sign that he’s in to you.  If you are enjoying the moment and want to encourage his advances, you can gently touch his arm of flirt with him, but steer clear of being obnoxious yourself.

If you’re with a few girlfriends, has he tried to include them in the conversation, but you’re still sure he’s more focused on you?  If he’s trying to engage them in conversation as well, that’s a good sign that he likes you.  He’s forging a pathway into your world and knows that if he can get your friends to approve of him, he’ll have a shot at getting an affirmative from you when he asks you out on a date.  If you glance at your friends, how do they look?  Are they scowling and ready to grab your arm and pull you away or are they at ease and smiling?  How they’re viewing the situation can tell you a lot.
