Does a break up means the end of a relationship? Or is there still a chance to save the relationship?
Fortunately, the answer is no for the first question and yes for the second question.
Although no one can promise you that you will surely get your ex back since it depends on individual situation, a break up doesn't have to mean the end of a relationship.

"People want what they do not or cannot easily have."
I believe that you have probably come across this principle before, at one point in time. Basically, it just means that if people do not have something, or if they cannot lay their hand on something easily, they will have more desire for it.
On the other hand, if you have a lot of something or you can easily lay your hand on something, then your desire for it will not be as strong. You will even tend to take it for granted.
In fact, you may even try to push it away from you. Let's look at an example.
For example, when a person is poor and cannot afford to abalone, his desire for abalone will be quite high. A typical example of people wanting what they do not have.
However, if that person becomes rich and can afford to eat it everyday, he will start to take it for granted. Of course, his desire will have dropped.
Now, what happens if he has to eat abalone everyday? He will even start to push it away.
This is just the same in your relationship.
If you act out of desperation while trying to get your ex back, your ex will perceive you as someone he/she can easily get. So, his/her desire in getting back together with you will not be very high. He/she may even take you for granted.
In fact, if you push too hard, your ex may even become more irritated and you will end up pushing your ex even further away from you. Therefore, this is something that you must definitely take note.
For example, if your ex is not answering your phone call, you should not call him/her over and over again or it will show your ex that you are acting out of desperation. Instead, it will be much better off that you call your ex a few days later.
In this way, your ex will not know that you are desperate even if you really feel that way.
By understanding the principle mentioned above, you will be in a much better position in getting your ex back.
