How am I able to get my Ex boyfriend out for a date after separating for quite some time?
I felt very uncomfortable when I was lying on a bed keep thinking of what he has been doing so far, and wonder how it can be worked out for both of us to be together once again. When I dealt with a past break up “How do I get my ex back?” was the main question on my mind. I couldn’t sleep or eat because I was constantly thinking about how I could convince my ex for a second chance.
Everyone’s circumstances are different but I like to keep in mind that love conquers all. Usually a breakup is the cause of one person in the relationship. It is rare that couples have a mutual breakup. Sometimes one person cheats or continues to do something that the other person can no longer tolerate.
It is in our nature to not realize what we have until it is gone. Sometimes a breakup is a huge wake up call. If the breakup is your fault there are several ways you can try to get your ex back:
1. Talk it out - This is tough if your ex is not willing to talk to you. However, if they are, you may want to listen more than talk. This would be a good time to find out exactly why your ex ended the relationship. You can then try to fix the problem.
2. Write a letter - Sometimes we can express ourselves best through writing. This works especially well if your ex is not on speaking terms with you. Most people can’t resist reading a letter so pour your heart and soul into it. Remember you want to make it work. Be sure to handwrite your letter - no emails as that is just impersonal.
3. Give them space - Many times you have no choice but to let your ex have their space. If they insist on being apart, give them that room to deal with what is on their mind. After some time has passed, try again with either tips 1 or 2 above.
Those are just a few of the tips I can suggest from my own experience. You can probably come up with a few of your own ideas just by continuing to ask yourself “how can I get my ex back?” Eventually you will come up with a few answers. Just stay positive and positive answers will come. Good luck!
Indeed, life is short. Don't let another day go by without taking a chance on happiness. You will never know until you try, so remember to make a move today.
