So you screwed up and now want to get back together with your ex girlfriend. You might be scared that all is lost and she may never come back to you. Relationships are not easy to begin with so if you want her back, you're going to have to put some effort into getting her back.
Your ex girlfriend may not like you very much right now, she might not even want to talk to you, but chances are good she won't harbor these feelings forever. If she has ever loved you before, you'll still have a place in her heart. This is one of the reasons why people get back together quite often. The love never truly goes away.
First you need to understand why the relationship failed in the first place. You need to resolve the issues that broke up the relationship if you want her back and have any sort of sustainable chance. Look at the relationship from an objective point of view and understand where your ex girlfriend might be coming from also.
We all want to think we're right so agree with her decision to break up. This lets her know you are on her side and you're not going to continue to argue with her. If it's at all possible, it's best to apologize to her through your actions than only with words. If you can be unique with your apology also, that will get your extra points.
You also want to sweep her off her feet. Women secretly do want their knight in shining armor to come along and take control. Not to mean they want you to take control over their whole life, but showing her you're a leader and you're confident enough to do what you want and believe in is a real turn on for most women.
Most of all don't be discouraged if she doesn't respond to you straight away. Underneath the surface she is slowly warming up to you and eventually she will come around. Remember to take your cue from her.
