Here are five signs that he is interested in you too. If any of the following happens, he is probably trying to get close enough to ask you out:

1. He tells someone

Is he interested? He likes you if he tells a mutual friend that he wants to know more about you, or he asks other people who you are and where you're from. He is trying to act like he's "just asking" but his questions indicate more than a casual interest. And when he tells someone that he finds you attractive, he probably knows that it will get back to you. He's hoping it does.

2. The look

He gives you a look that betrays his calm exterior. Even though he is across the room, "that look" he has says it all. It is sweeping, from your head to your toes, and then his eyes linger on yours. You think you notice the beginning of a tentative smile.

3. The conversation

Does he like you? When he manages to get close enough to you, to ask you questions, he is interested. He appears to be listening and responds to what you say. He's moving in to the ultimate question, which is: "Are you seeing anyone." He would only ask this question if he wanted to date you, and he hopes the answer is "No." Never ever wear a ring in public. When a guy is across the room, he cannot tell which finger it is on and he may assume incorrectly that you are taken. If he doesn't ask you the question of whether or not you are attached, he may ask someone whom you both know.

4. He appears unexpectedly

He likes you a lot if he shows up out of nowhere. He can only do that if he has been asking people about your schedule, or he has been paying attention to where you are going and at what time. I am discovering that I have major feelings for this guy. I have known him for a while but lost touch for about 7 years then bumped into him again last summer and we've been hanging out since then. There was an instant connection between us...some definate sexual tension. We continued to hang out all summer and get to know eachother better. Then I returned to school, which is in another city. I let him know everytime I come home and he always calls and wants to hangout. We don't get to talk as much as I'd like because I am here and he is there and I don't want to come off as needy or obsessive by calling or texting too much/often. We have not really established what we are but we are together when I am home. He is genuine and interested in me when its just us but around his buds its like he can't show that he's interested in me but he brings me with him. I have absolutely no interest in anyone else. I think I have tried subtly hinting to him that I like him but I'm not sure if he is getting it. I know I am not crazy. I really do think there is something here. If he was not interested then why would he call to hangout and do things together?
Please help me...I am having some major trouble trying to figure him out.

I believe most women dont think enough of themselves, and thus give the wrong impression and also men maks the same mistake. Instead of being yourself, which I do believe that is who you are, try just that. You will find that most men will respect you more, and if they dont you dont want that kind of man in your life. Being honest does not hurt one bit, but lying the old saying comes into play, when at first we start to deceive, mainly we only accomplish deceiving ourselves. I dont like using tired expressions,but why not when they are true. Play it cool at first, means take it easy until you are positive he is the right guy for you. When you feel or have that special feeling and you all know what I mean, at least about 10% of you do. Just kidding. Now dont be bashful, after all you will never know if you dont make perhaps the first advance. If he starts making excuses or literally runs away, then you know you are being a bit too forward. And at this point dont cry, just laugh at yourself, pat yourself on the back for what you did took courage, and give with a big smile. In fact ou can easily catch a man simply with one genuine smile. You will often find them smiling back at you, and that may just give you a clue.

i've read alot of these kind of articles trying to figure out if my guy friend likes me. he's always wanting to talk to me, calls me to ask me stupid questions even if he knows the answer (like one time he called asking what time work started even though he had been working over 2 months at the same place i am), he's constantly showing me books he's reading, and my friends all think he likes me. one friend asked him if he liked me and he said no and she said he straightened his back like "oh god i'm caught" or something. and one time during play rehearsal i sat with another one of my friends and counted how many times he glanced over at me and it was like 46 in 5 minutes. i've heard from another guy at work that he likes me too but sometimes its hard to believe that he likes me. all my friends don't find it too surprising because they all say i'm very likeable and adorable and funny and all that stuff. and i just remembered, during the past 2 weeks we've had school assemblies and each time he was either sitting super close or a ways back from me, and anytime his leg touched mine or arm or something he wouldn't move. he would just stay there lol and sometimes he would move a certain way so his arm was against my leg if he was sitting below me or something. and he likes poking me or rapping his fingers against my legs during a field trip because he always sits behind me for some reason. and when he talks to me he makes eye contact then can't hold it for more then 5 seconds but he keeps glancing back to my eyes. AND i realize this is very long and i'm sorry but there's one more thing: anytime i go to the library when he's in there to type something or read something i always sit behind him, but he always moves his neck or face the same way like he's stretching and i know that he's watching me. so...I'M SORRY FOR THIS BEING LONG. but please tell me if he likes me cause i really like him too and he makes me nervous LOL

okay, this article is bull! if a guy tells someone, no DUH hes interested! and, if everyone likes you, then why are you reading this article?! Also, "never wear a ring in public?" what complete foolishness! if you are about to avoid wearing a piece of jewelery so that a man can feel comfortable approaching you, then you need not to be worrying about if a man likes you, but if you are anywhere near competent enough to catch and keep one. all in all, this is a very NOT helpful (quite the opposite, i find) article that needs to be rethought and rewritten.

OK.... so I've liked this 1 guy 4 a while now, and earlier in the school year when there was still football games, i went 4 my first time 2 one 4 my school (ya, kinda lame it was my first time at 1) My bff and his bff got us to get somewhat near each other in the outside field and then PUSHED us together and our friends formed a small circle around us. they forced us to say hi and we both looked at the ground. I couldn't tell his facial expression, cuz it was REALLY dark. he was the 1st 2 walk away. later that evening, my bff told him I liked him. He just said "Oh, ok." We used 2 talk all the time in science class (if u wanna get REAL technical, it's Adv. Earth Science grade 8) but now we don't talk at all. :( He usually passes me when I'm daydreaming in the halls, and I don't expect it. Also, we have a guitar class now in school and when ever we practice before class, when I walk in mthe room, he starts playing ongs like Sweet Home Alabama. I play the guitar to and in a way, respond by playing Breathe by Faith Hill, but really quietly so everyone can barely hear it, and I doesn't make eye contact with him, it seems like he gets frusturated when I do that though cuz he starts playing again. We just had a Jump Rope for Heart recently and we were doing baton races across the gym and back each person. I was sitting about 5 feet from the line we had to cross. He ran straight across the line and slid like a baseball player does to get into base, but he did to slow down. He slammed into me and, in a way, fell on top of me and got back up, flushed. Also, we were doing jump roping and I was one of the first to stop. He was with one other girl to winn the school and noticed me look at him quick. He started going really fast and criss crossing and he tripped!!!! me and my friends laughed, cuz it was funny. The whole day too, he kept looking at me, cuz i was looking and talking to me friend who was right next to him, I sat on th step below her and faced her. He kept looking at me as he was talking to his friends and even sat next to me cuz he was 'playing a game w/ his friend' Does he like me? If so, rate this positive!

talk to him girl!! it doesnt even have to be flirty, it just has to be nice and casual. just add a little friendly sentence in there like twice. trust me it will most likey work. and if that doesnt work, then sit next to him whenver u can. just make it seem like ur clingy. sit with him at lunch, or during free time stand next to him. make sure that wen he sees u, u make eye contact and smile sweetly and flirtely. and find out his favorite color and wear that color alot. if he likes a certain topic, then wen u talk to him next, focus more on that subject. and wen ur talking, say his name alot so that he feels like ur only focused on him. act like hese the only one in the room. good luck!!

Ok so I was totally crazy about this boy and still am. We began talking and noticing eachother last year but the thing is we're both way too shy to actually come out and be like 'hey, I really like you.' So instead it was just talking and lots of quick glances at each other. We got to hang out in DC and that's when we became super close. The thing is that he's not really into dating and stuff like that. He's more of the stay focused in school type. He's totally respectful and respected. He doesn't curse, he never laughs at things most imature people laugh at, and he's just a total nerd. I like it, lots. I spent the whole summer thinking about him but when I saw him again at school it was weird. We're both still too shy to talk to eachother and its making me mad!!! Well, I'm 14. I went to camp with this guy named Zack and I just found him on Myspace.com. We talk a lot. Usually, when I'm not on, he waits for me. Gosh, I have 5 classes with my crush, band, lunch (if you want to count that as a class), world cultures, biology, and geometry. But in band, i play the flute and he plays the drums so we are on the opposite sides of the room, at lunch we don\'t even sit anywhere near each other, world cultures he\'d occasionally look at me but i probably look at him 10 times more, in biology i currently sit far behind him which makes it hard not to look at him, and in geometry ive been in his math group before which were the only times ive ever really talked to him. I\'d really tell my friends about me liking my crush but hes literaly so hot that almost all of my friends have liked him too and i dont want them getting mad at me for liking him, this situation just tickes me off because when ever i talk to him, i always have to think about what my friends would do to me if they ever found out that i really liked him. i guess the only person i ever told about my feelings for my crush would be my very best and closest friend, but that was when me and my friend saw him for the first time but she liked him too, so i told she could have him because she has never had a boyfriend before and i have, but then later when my feelings for him died down, my best friend started thinking that she wasn\'t good enough for him because that was when my other friend started to like him too, and i asked her if she was going to ask him out at our highschool football game and she said yes, luckily when she did ask my crush during the game he said no. but before the game my best friend told me that she\'d rather have me and my crush date rather than my other friend date him. i thought about that comment for a very long time and the more i thought about it, the more i wanted it to come true, so ive been trying my very hardest to figure out if he likes me too, and im not the type of girl that just goes up to random people and start talking to them, i mean like ive said before, the only time i talk to him is when we are in groups for class discussions but that is not the best time for us to talk about our personal life especially if there are other people in the group with us, so basically i am in a web of people liking him and im not sure if i should even date him if all of my friends have liked him before. Hah, this page is so fail... I'm a guy, and I'm guessing the person who wrote this article is indeed a woman, because she (or he, whatever) has no clue what goes on in the mind of a guy.

Here are my 5 pointers

1. Staring:
if he constantly stares at you, and you happen to see this out of the corner of your eye, he has an interest (doesn't mean he likes you) and is either perverted (lol) or has a sorta sense that finds you out of the crowd (awesomeness)

2. Chatting:
if he truly likes (yes, onto the next level baby!) you, then he will go out of his schedule to have a talk with you, not just to know more about you, but build onto the bond you might already have, or give it a kick start!

3. Dating:
yes, this is going by fast, I skipped some steps because I would get you to read this part first...
Once your certain he at least knows who you are, and you are good friends, ask him out on a date! (I know this is coming from a guy, and you don't wanna ruin the tradition of the guy asking out the girl, but, heh, my second girl friend was the one who asked me out for the first time!) simple as that! yes or no answer, you have nothing to worry about! someone has gotta make the first move anyways!!

4. Humor:
You will notice that he will occasionally tell the dumbest joke ever, and you will laugh because you want to be polite, right? well, a common trick between guys is to purposely tell a dumb joke and get you to laugh, if you laugh, they assume you like him, if you don't, he will try again later (were persistent little buggers, aren't we?)
so, laugh at some, and don't laugh at others! What does this have to do with finding out you ask? If he tries this persistently, he likes you...

5. Flirting
Most say girls are the ones that love to flirt (sexist communists), but guys like to just as much as you know! Most guys are too shy to start flirting (not me!), so you are gonna have to start something... like maybe a little bit of wrestling (be careful, strong guys like to get carried away), or even just make up little jokes about him (not too harsh though, and be warned that, as stated before, guys like to flirt too, so he will find comebacks!!!)

Well...i've felt chemistry for this guy at school since 10th grade, and now im in 12th grade. Everyone else at school hated him for a while, and even though I liked him a little I acted like I hated him because I was a little ashamed of my feelings and so I can fit in with others. He really liked me back then a whole lot and would bring me food and call me sweetheart and hug me. But for 10th grade and 11th grade I would treat him like crap and push him away. But one day this year in september when I actually sat down and had a good conversation with him I felt as if fireworks were going off between us and I realised how much chemistry I felt with him. I had always felt sparks when I was around him but the fireworks kind of feelings were new. I couldnt take my eyes off of him and my heart kept beating, especially when he would put his head on my right shoulder. After that, I could see him and I married with kids and I kept thinking to myself while looking at him, "Man our kids would be beautiful" and "I can see us togeather forever living in a house togeather. Even if we were dirt poor we would still be happy togeather" It made me happy just thinking about it but scared at the same time too. I've only felt the same with one other guy and he hurted me badly years ago in the past. Im scared...what if the same thing happens again? Not so long after, one day someone made me upset at school and I was crying and the guy I felt chemistry with found out, and he kept hugging me and wanted to beat up the person who made me cry. He kissed me on my cheek and pressed his cheek against mine. And thats when I really started to fall for him.
Soon after I felt fireworks with the guy I felt chemistry for, we ate lunch togeather one day and we walked around school leaning and hugging on each other. Many people saw us hugging and the next day a girl I kind of knew and talked to a little asked me if me and the guy have somthing going on and she said that it was obvious that I really liked him. Later that day I realised that I wanted him to know that I really liked him, so I would ask him for hugs. I think that I asked him a little too much for them because he seemed to be irritated with me within the next two days. I diddnt know what to do after that happened I diidnt want to make things worse. so I just diddnt say anything to him at all. A week went by and I noticed he seemed to avoid me. But I remembered that when he turned around to look at me he gave me a look. and what really scared me was that he gave me an unsure look. a kind of look I can't describe. It wesn't a bad look but it wasn't a good look either, i don't think...and later on that day he gave me the same look when I was walking to one of my classes in school. He couldnt be trying to avoid me because earlier that same day he sat near me in one of my classes and he started conversations with me and let me look through his pictures on his digital camera. He diddn't hug on me though or come anywhere too close to me either. And the next day he diddnt even want to talk to me when we had a special event in my schools gym, and I SAT A ROW BEHIND HIM THE WHOLE TIME AND HE KNEW IT!!!!!! and diddn't bother to say anything to me, but he talked to everyone else around him. Even people who he diddnt even know. It was like he was too scared to even come near me like he was nervous or something...I don't know whats wrong with him... did I come on too strong? Was it wrong to stop hugging him altogeather like how it used to be? If he was trying to avoid me or get away from me then why did he sit near me and talk to me and start conversations with me? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey I REEEEEALLLLLLLY like this guy named ***** and he's christian like me and VERY mature for his age, he'll tell me his honest opinion even if nonnes else agrees.......At the time I waz a sophmore and he was a senior. At first we were juss good friends but then I started seeing him as sorta cute........then I started seeing him as a MAJOR CRUSH, we started flirting and he showed that he had feelings for me and I showed that I had feelings for him but I still wasn't as bold as he was.............But about 3 months inot flirting and tlking and being concid w/ eachother, I finally realized that he was leaving for college and I probably would never see him again. But for some reason he started flirting w/ me like more than eva!!You'd thnk he's bck off because it was almost over but he started tlking to me, finding reason to stop me in the hallway, and even invited me to his graduation party!! The last time I saw him he wanted to tke a pic of me so he could "remember" me....and said that he wouldn't see me in a "looooooong" time. Not never juss a while which indicated he'd wait for me, and juss the other day we chatted on the computer and he said he was tlking to me like crazy as if he had'nt said a word all dy and trusted me enought to blurt it all out to me. Omg! im sooo confused!I dont know if thos guy likes me or not! All of a sudden this guy i liked since the begining of the year asked for help with his homework. There's this boy I met in summer, I knew him for a week, but I really really liked/like him. He's perfect for me, in every way, however the thing is, there are 2 problems. One is that he lives nearly 100 miles away, and Two, he's 12. I'm 15. I was 14 when I met him, but it's still a bit wierd. It didn't feel it at all, but everyone else thinks it is..
I emailed him a while back, told him how i felt, he replied saying not to worry because he felt the same, so i was over the moon, but then his friend (who i also met in summer) was texting me and told me that he's now with this other girl.
But apparently whenever they ask him about her he avoids the subject, but apparently whenever i'm mentioned, he will talk about me for ages. Apparently he talks about me all the time, and where we met (at a camp).
He acts the same as he did when he officially liked me, but he apparently told some of his mates (that im not sure i can trust..) that he only liked her.
I don't get what his game is. :
