When love is shared between two people it is the most wonderful feeling in the world. We date so that we can find that special person that we want to share the rest of our lives with. Dating is a painful process that can be filled with heartache and sorrow. But we do it so that we can find the happiness that we all look for. How do you know when you have found that special person? Will there be surefire signs?
You will need to love freely to find the right person, but you will also want to protect your heart at the same time. This is a difficult balance to achieve. There are some signs that the person you are dating is the right person for you.
Pay attention to those tiny annoyances now and don’t make the mistake of thinking they will change if you get married. People often overlook small things that drive them crazy because they believe that their beloved will miraculously stop doing it. First of all, if they don’t know they are annoying you how can they be expected to stop. And second, they may not be willing or able to change the habit that is annoying you. Sometimes an annoying habit is a part of their personality. An absentminded person cannot become more organized and attentive. Most likely this is who they are and you will need to accept it or move on. It’s best to find these things out early in the relationship rather than after a great deal of time has passed.
Does the person you are interested in find fault with everything you do? This is something you don’t want to live with. If your date is unable to accept the things they don’t like about you then they should move on. Expecting you to change for them is not a good sign that the relationship is meant to be. People cannot change their basic personality and no one should expect you to.
You can be sure when you have found the right person, but you have not found the perfect person. There is no such thing. You will need to look beyond some flaws and accept the person you are with. If you find that you cannot then you should not string that person along for a long time, it is not fair to them. Give them a chance to find someone who is able to handle their faults and love them for who they are.
