Is Deaf Love True Love?

Have you ever experienced language barrier? If you have ever gone to a different city or state, country or continent you know what i am talking about. Over the years, i have lived in different places. I am from an English speaking country so you can imagine what happened when i visited Montreal Canada. I did not know even a single french word and so i behaved just like a deaf person. I wanted to date a french girl despite the language barrier. I loved her and that is when i started to wonder whether there is deaf love. We read about it in books, and even watch it in movies where two people from different placom/blogs meet and fall in love without exchanging even a single word.

I know deaf dating actually exists but what about deaf love that seems to transcend any language? Love is a non-verbal feeling which is shared by two people. True love does not depend on your behavior. If you love people because of what they say to you and how they play with their words, i am afraid you might be a little bit misguided.  Love is a strong feeling that conquers all. It does not respect class, ethnic background or even physical features like mountains and distance. No wonder it is not even limited by language barriers and disabilities. Songs have been written and movies acted of people who had no hearing impediment coupling up with a deaf person.

In these gorgeous romantic movies, some guy will go for a holiday in a deserted place with only a placom/blog guide for company. Within no time he falls in love with a beautiful village girl from the nearby village who does not know how the world looks like outside her village. Does deaf love happen like this or does Hollywood lie to me all the time? With the increasing number of inter-tribal relationships, it is evident that deaf love exists. Every second there is a romantic relationship transpiring between people who speak each other's language terribly. Love is a driving force that makes it possible for each lover to learn the others mother tongue with much ease. It creates the right attitude and makes it bearable to learn even the most difficult language with the required patience.

A french guy in love with an English girl will try to polish his English as the girl polishes on her French. That is the power of love and it brings out the beauty of deaf love. The two people result into being bilingual. What is the first gift that the two people will buy for each other on their first date? The will buy their language dictionary and take to the new found deaf love. That is the perfect form of dedication, love and commitment that two people facing a language barrier can give to each other. These people usually enjoy better communication than people who speak the same language. This is because they have made communication their most important business.
