My best friend accused me of being a lesbian.. Is there something behind this?I have been friends with my best friend for 8 years. Recently we have had a falling out and she has kicked me out of her life. Anyway to the point, I recently heard she is accusing me of being a lesbian and that I have a crush on her. Of course this is not true and I am totally stunned by her insinuations. I am just wondering if maybe there is something deeper going on, as though it is her who has the crush on me but cannot admit to it because she feels it is terribly wrong and that would ruin her image, So she is pointing the finger to me to save her self or something like that? I never thought about it before but looking back on our years of being friends there have been times when she acted weird towards me.. for instance we sometimes would play fight and she would get on top of me and strattle me I guess you could say, and sometimes she would bite my shoulder, but not a quick bite, she would stay there for a minute or two. I thought it was kind of strange and I have questioned it.. and she also would sometimes seem like she wants to be close to me or be touching me like my hand or something..but I didn't think anything of it knowing how she always seems to need and want a boyfriend. Our senior year she decided to ignore me for 4 months without telling me why and in that time span I had tried to talk to her about it but she said to let her come to me and that she still loves me and is here for me. In that time span of ignoring me, she spent her time getting close to a guy and eventually got together with him (supposidly fell in love, but they recently broke up.Now she is with another guy.) After she finally came to me she gave me a friendship book and apologized and said that her reasons for doing what she did was because she depended on me too much and other reasons that I wouldn't understand. I found it to be completely strange..Since that time, our friendship has never been the same or as close as what it used to be. She would always fight with me like a couple and has even thought that our friendship was like a relationship and I couldn't understand why. Anyway, I am just wondering what her deal is because I am not a lesbian and In no way have I ever shown to her that I have an interest in her. So I am asking how can I justify her accusations, is she really referring to her self but just want the finger to point to me because she can't deal with her own truth? Or is she just crazy. And for some reason now she wants me out of her life. Any suggestions?
