Many people who are in what they consider to be a good relationship are often shocked and confused when they are faced with the reality of a lost love. Their first reaction is usually “What did I do to deserve a lost love?” or “Why did my boyfriend (or girlfriend) dump me?”

You have done the unexpected and now they are intrigued, and probably quite a bit surprised. Eventually, they WILL want to know why you accepted the relationship breakup so readily.
Once you have truly accepted the breakup – go out an live your life! Your emotional well-being deserves it and you will find yourself becoming less immersed in the past and looking more towards the future. Limit any contact with your lost love – let them come to you.
It's possible that winning back a lost love is not meant to be. It happens. If it IS meant to be, then your ex will soon be contacting you. Keep it friendly. Build slowly. Remember what it was that attracted your lost love to you in the first place and if it's in your to do so, try to regain that “lost you”. It will soon be evident if your lost love is, once again, ready to commit to a deeper relationship.
