Tip 1. What movie you can talk about that he's seen it and loved it? Any movie nominated for an Oscar that year. Don't debate a movie like Michael Moore and his documentary.
Tip 2. Talk about travel. Pick a place you have been to and would love to back to, even with him. Don't talk about travel during college days, that doesn't work well ladies.
Tip 3. When it comes to books, just pick a book that you think he would like, even if you don't know much about it. Set him up and don't pick an obscure book that he might not have read.
Tip 4. Key ladies...your life ambitions. Keep it short, like your current career or job has long term appeal. Remember, it's a date and not a therapy session for you.
Tip 5. Be a good listener and a good talker. Matchmakers rule is the one remembered in the best spot light is the one that did the least talking at a social event. That's a fact!
Tip 6. Always answer his questions and be sure to ask you own questions. Be open-mined but don't cross examine him. Your questions that are intimate should match his level also.
Tip 7. Something sweet. It's okay to order desert. Men like to see you eat, not get fat. It also indicates to your date that you are having a good time. The biggest reason to get desert is so he can have some too. You see ladies, men love desert. Splitting the desert is a subtle but romantic gesture.
