Matchmaking Tips for Women- Finding Men Who Are In My League

Travel in the same circles as they do. First off, define what is in your league.   Are you referring to monetary league, educational league, or what do you mean. Are you referring to socio-economic league, then travel in leagues where you think well educated, upscale professional men will be. That might be a top notch steak house, or going to charity benefits that are a certain cost per ticket, or signing up for events, classes at a yacht club to do classes, or something that will attract men in your league. Define what your league is and how long you have been in that league. Are you in that league on your own, or are you in that league from a divorce or settlement.

Nobody on this earth, a man or woman, should compromise or settle for what they want. What you do have to do is lose part of your list as you get older. For example, if you are young and never been married and never had children and want to start a family, you should start to look for a mirror image of yourself. Maybe you mean a guy who has never been married, who you can grow together with and experience things with. If in fact, you are divorced and you do not have children and you are of a certain age where the men you should be dating, you would hope and pray they have been married. If you are over 35 and you have never been married and you are not compromising and you don’t want a man who has children. At 35, you are on the cusp as any man over 40 or in his early or mid 40’s, chances he has been married and probably had a child or two.  So, you have to be open to that. That’s not compromising, that’s called losing your list.  The older you get, the more baggage you have. The less you are going to be allowed on your list. In essence, nobody should compromise, nobody should settle, why should you. If you have confidence in yourself and you think you deserve a certain thing, why should you.  If you randomly meet a guy and he doesn’t fall into the category you are looking for, and you fell in love with him and it just happened, sometimes stuff happens and you have to go with the flow.

Use your blinkers and your whole attitude.  I was at a yard sale and met a 36 year old guy who happened to be an amazing guy, double ivy educated, in house attorney and he was at a yard sale looking for a bike to carry his surf board on. You can meet men at supermarkets, Barnes and Noble, walking down the street. You can meet men at the golf course, tennis courts, at the gym or at the steak house. Men are everywhere. Just pay attention to what is around you.  You can meet someone in an elevator. You can meet a man in the lobby of a building. How about I met a girl the other day that I bumped into who was divorced with a small child.  She was selling a sports car and the guy who came to buy the car came knocking at her door to see the car. Fast forward, she has been living with him for the past 8 years.  She was selling a car and he was the purchaser. You never know.  You can be at a sporting event, a tennis match, at a restaurant waiting to eat. Put your feelers out. Wake up, men are everywhere.
