You must have heard of the term pick up artist being used for men who can easily get any woman they want within a short span of time. Generally, a pick up artist is used to denote men who are experts in the art of seducing strange women. While all this might sound archaic to you, we can hereby denote a man who has acquired the skill of picking up or seducing women who are not from his social circle as a pick up artist. If you can somehow become a pick up artist, you will find women loving you and men hating you, but then you wouldn’t want to be a pick up artist if you were not straight, would you?

The art of picking up women can be acquired and learnt and it has nothing to do with your background or your upbringing. In an open society, this is actually one of the most popular methods used by pick up artists for picking their prey. However, critics of the direct method argue that this kind of an open expression of desire makes women uncomfortable and often results in scaring them off.

On the other hand, pick up artists following the Indirect Method will first try to get close to the woman on other than physical levels and impress her in order to get the permission to seduce her. While this is a method that is generally followed in civilized society a lot, its critics rubbish it as an idea that gives more importance to women when it comes to making relationship decisions.
