How do you stop the craving you have for wanting your ex back? It’s not healthy for you to dwell on things that can’t be controlled, but how can you find a bit of peace within yourself during these difficult times?
It’s not all doomed if your relationship is over. Wanting your ex back is normal and not at all impossible to achieve if you have the right plan.
Step 1: Stop trying to 'convince' your ex to come back. Whether you're doing it subconsciously or forcibly, any actions that indicate you still want them back will be negative for you in the long-run.
Step 2: Try to adopt a much more positive outlook on the whole situation. If you ever want your ex back, you need to show them you're someone worth getting back with. Being depressed, sad, jealous and unstable is not the kind of characteristics anyone would want to be attracted to.
Step 3: Give them space and show them you are enjoying life just fine without them. Sure flirt with them a bit if you want, just let them know it's all innocent fun and you don't 'really' want to get back together.
Step 4: Ask them out on a casual date. Obviously don't do this until a significant amount of time has passed and you feel you both are over the initial issues for breaking up.
There’s more to getting your ex back then these steps but to ensure you’re not headed in the wrong direction, these are guidelines you can follow. Keep in mind, you don’t have to wait weeks or months before you are back together with your ex.
