What Do Intuition And Romance Have Anything To Do With Each Other.

It may seem funny to some, or totally far fetched to suggestion that intuition and romance have anything to do with each other. Consider this, however.

What makes you take that long walk across the dance floor, or the bar, or the library or the grocery store or wherever to say hello to that attractive stranger?

How many times have you heard people - yourself included - say, "I've never done anything like this before?"

Intuition has led to take that leap for the sake of possible romance. Something - some sixth sense - tells you not only that this might be "the one" but that this person will feel the same and not reject you.

Intuition and romance come together in other ways as well. Especially in later years in a relationship, people will connect with their mates to the point that they know long distance when something good or bad has happened to their mate.

That kind of intuition isn't just about romantic relationships either. A close connection with a loved one - a child, a sibling, a parent, a great friend - can cause intuition to send a signal when they're hurt or in trouble.

Intuition is often the reason why romance blooms into long term loving relationships.

The difference between a relationship that has intuition and one that is missing it is the difference between really knowing each other - finishing each other's sentences, sensing how they will feel about something - and just putting up with them so as not to be alone.

Intuition, our sixth sense, isn't the only sense that adds to romance of course.

The other five are important as well. Our sight can be used to drive each other wild with desire, can make the rest of the world disappear as we gaze into each other's eyes, can send silent and powerful messages that the rest of the world doesn't get but drive the two of you more powerfully together.

The sense of taste, even outside of sexual relationships can foster romance. Dining in a luxurious candlelit restaurant, feeding each other - especially by hand - is romantic and intimate.

Smell, is a strong romantic sense. Choose one fragrance that your partner loves and wear it often, though lightly.

Leave fragrant hints of it on your pillow when you're out of town, in a sachet in the bathroom when you're gone, on the clothes that hang in the closet that you share.

Make that certain smell remind her or him always of you.

We probably don't have to say much about how the sense of touch builds romance. In fact, it might be said that all adults have an intuition about touch and romance.
